To be honest, I feel a little awkward writing here.  When I visit other sites I like, I'm curious to know about the person or team behind them--but, it seems odd to talk about myself!

What doesn't seem odd is that I've started a store to promote a sustainable lifestyle, and to benefit humanity through fair trade. I've had a lifelong passion for nature, and I've been an environmental advocate for more than 20 years. For a long time, that meant contacting members of congress, donating time and money to causes, picking up litter on hikes, buying fair trade & organic, and even recycling long before curbside pick-ups! But I always wanted to do something more to help both people and the earth, and when I finally had the idea and opportunity for Element EcoWear, it felt like I was taking the first step towards something very meaningful and exciting.  Here I could combine a love for art and photography by creating a unique site for people to enjoy, while promoting and providing affordable, beneficial, and beautiful eco-fashion.
