Element EcoWear was founded to benefit the earth-so naturally, we want to use eco-friendly packaging when we ship items to you. Originally we shipped items in bags, made from recycled and recyclable materials. The lower weight and more compact shipping volume of bags is estimated to reduce fossil fuel use, solid waste generation, and undesirable emissions by 70-90%, relative to boxes with void fill. However, after two customers received items that appeared to be damaged through the package during shipping, we changed to USPS boxes made from recycled materials.

ALL of our gift tissue and gift boxes are made with recycled paper (with as much post-consumer content possible), and our gift ribbon is either cotton, which is biodegradable (most ribbons aren’t!), or a new type of ribbon made from recycled paper. If a supplier sends us an item in its own plastic‘wrapping’ bag we include it, unless we needed to remove the item for a quality inspection.  All items not enclosed in plastic wrapping are sent to you wrapped in recycled-content tissue paper.  We use a small amount of the same recycled tissue as box fill.
