The Waterkeeper Alliance advocates communities' rights to clean water, and the wise and equitable use of water locally and globally, with the goal of fishable, swimmable and drinkable waterways worldwide. WA aspires to protect every major watershed around the world, using grassroots advocacy and collaborations with other leading national and international environmental and public health organizations within a global network.
