The company principles were easy to establish, but the name ‘Element EcoWear’ actually took months to conceive. Dallas says that, “When it finally occurred to me, it seemed so obvious-but it was probably the 100th name I’d thought of! Every weekend, I’d walk around a lake for a few hours; I didn’t want to give up time on my new business, so my mission as I walked was to come up with a ‘first name’ for EcoWear. Nothing seemed quite right, until ‘Element’.

Since I’m a chemist, I loved it instantly. But when I thought about it, it really fit perfectly, too... because the company’s purpose is to foster some of the most basic elements, in my mind, of humanity-to take the next step in an evolution, where people consciously choose to provide for and enrich their own lives without a cost to others--and even beyond that, by also benefiting others.
