Element EcoWear was founded on the belief that there are many ways for people to enjoy their lives, and at the same time enhance the lives of others. It’s often as simple as buying a great product, which also makes some difference in the world.

When our founder, Dallas Fairbanks, first discovered bamboo t-shirts on the island of Kauai, she was enchanted by their ultra-soft comfort. Soon after returning home she started to look for more bamboo shirts, and in the process learned about bamboo’s amazing earth-friendly properties, and other benefits. After giving many of these eco shirts to friends and family (who all wanted more, too), and knowing bamboo’s amazing green features, Dallas realized that creating a new venue to share this eco apparel with the public would benefit everyone. (At that time, bamboo clothing was much harder to find than it is today.) Since Dallas had been an environmental advocate for more than 20 years, she found this idea compelling--and soon envisioned what would become Element EcoWear.
